History
The forum was the second thing to be put on the site (toons were first), and quickly grew to outstanding member numbers early on, citing that the website was fairly popular amongst viewers. All series originally got their own boards until too many started showing up, making the creator, Porplemontage, have to put all the series in subboards to save room. The forum is open game to any topic, as long as it is appropriate enough for most viewers (many of the members barely strike above youngster besides Porple, Ruby, Brooks, and a few others). Thousands of posts have already formed since last year, and the community is known to be very supportive of it's series.
Controversy
Some members on the forum have been subjected to flaming or cold shoulders since their debute. This has caused some problems over the forum, often biases or harsher grades on rival's episodes. Usually this clears up after a while and things go back to normal.
Other 'unwritten rules' kind of hover in the way of forum goers as well. Telling the truth to one cartoon maker about a poor animation or strip may create tention or hostillity even if the reviewer didn't mean it. This can sometimes happen to series such as Kruk Krew, which features less-then-clean character designs and animation. Although the truth hurts sometimes, it is sometimes the only way to improve on the series, and some creators need to understand that.
April Fool's! -2006
During April Fools the words were filtered to different words. Such as, The: The Disney Channel, is: is not, for: fo'. Members of the forums were starting to get angry and annoyed by the filters so the admins (Steve n' Steve) tried to revert the filters. The joke was that there was some kind of "corruption" in the MySQL database and the filters couldn't be turned off. Later Porplemontage added a joke mustache to all of the Porplemontage logos including the forums one.
