Porplemontage Studios is the greatest webhosting site for Flash cartoons and comics known to man. Before October 13, 2005, the porplemontage.com domain was Steve Shinn's own blog and wiki, and before that he hosted his own Flash creations. After the whole blog thing wasn't working out he decided to host other people's cartoons, like he had been doing with Nate's Flash beforehand. He just took the name that Nate W., Nate's Flash creator, had been using in his cartoons for Porplemontage, which was "Porplemontage Studios". A logo was designed and Steve immediately started looking for new clients, giving them each a porplemontage.com subdomain, blog category, and forum.
